ABOUT THE PROJECT

When searching for an idea, arched and vaulted structures were taken as the basis for shaping and zoning the interior space. Arches and vaults were used in both Ancient Italy and Ancient Greece in the construction of traditional architecture. Also, the use of arches in this interior emphasizes the interaction with the facade element of this building, which reflects the context and theme of the restaurant. This space is filled with natural materials and shades. Terrazzo and olive shades, as well as a perforated fine mesh mesh stylized as rattan, convey the atmosphere of an Italian village. Terrazzo as a material originates from Venice and is pieces of marble, glass and stone, poured into a single canvas with cement. The interior combines tradition and modernity and emphasizes the concept of a traditional European restaurant.
